Soluton 1: Data Import
1. Data Conversion
- Download Attached Excel File
- Open File “Seminar Contacts” and Convert Excel file (.xlsx) to CSV by clicking on File->Save As
- Change the file type to: CSV (Comma Delimited/Separated Value) (*.csv)
- Then Save
2. Data Import
- In Salesforce Setup Navigate -> Integration -> Data Import Wizard or type it in quick find
- Click on the Launch Wizard button
- Select Accounts and Contacts-> New Records -> CSV (click on Choose file button and select the “Seminar Contacts.csv” File and click Next
- Map CSV Columns with Salesforce Account/Contact Fields and click Next
- Click on the “Start Import” button to start data import
- View import result to check if all 30 contacts were imported
- finish
