Estate CRM New Customer Journey
The Salesforce Admin has several meetings with the Heads for Sales Operation, Customer Service and Finance Operations and the generated the following customer on-boarding and Instalment management journeys; 1) Sales Agent collects customer information in Salesforce App 2) Sales Agent Follows up with Prospect by calling, if Customer Agrees to move forward, Sales agent converts lead to opportunity 3) Quotation Stage: Sales Agent sends a quotation to customer via email, if customer agrees quote, the Sales agent advise customer to make first instalment (deposit). 4) Deposit Stage: Sales agent outlines duration of instalment and how much the customer pays at first instalment, the customer makes payment and sends receipt. 5) Agreement Stage: An agreement email is sent to the customer stating the first deposit, monthly instalment and total asset cost. 6) Instalment Stage: Each Instalment is sent to Finance Team email (finance@estate.com), the finance team uploads payment each receipt to the instalment object till instalment is complete.

SOLUTION 1

  1. Navigate to Setup->Object Manager ->Lead -> Field and Relationships 
  2. Click on the “New” Button in the Upper right
  3. Select the Picklist (Multi=Select) radio button, Click Next
  4. input Field Label name “Product”,  Select Option; Enter values with each value separated by a new line “Blessing Estate-Ibeju Lekki, Happy Estate Abeokuta, Exclusive Estate, Ibafo”, Field Name “Product”. Click Next.
  5. Make visible to all Profiles.
  6. Make available to all Layouts.

SOLUTION 2

Navigate to Setup-> Duplicate Management->Duplicate Rule

  1. Deactivate the Following Rule “Standard Lead Duplicate Rule”
  2. Navigate out of Duplicate rule to Matching Rule at the Quick Find menu on the left.
  3. Select Matching rule, click on new and next

       Step 2 Configure Matching Rule

      Provide the Rule Name “Lead Matching By Phone And Email

      Unique Name “Lead_Matching_By_Phone_And_Email

      Matching Criteria

  1. Field= Mobile, Matching Method= Exact
  2. Field= Email, Matching Method= Exact

          Filter Logic= 1 OR 2

          Click On Save

  1. Navigate back to Duplicate Rule

       Select New-> Lead

      Rule Name: Lead Duplicate Rule

     Record-Level Security: Select Enforce Sharing Rules (Radio Button)

     Actions: Action on Create: Allow, Select Alert (Checkbox),          Select Report (Checkbox)

          Action on Edit: Block

          Alert Text: Use one of these records?

  1. Matching Rules

        Compare Lead with: Leads

        Matching Rule: Lead Matching By Phone And Email

        Click On Save

SOLUTION 3

  1. Navigate to Setup->Object Manager ->Opportunity -> Field and Relationships 
  2. Click on the “New” Button in the Upper right
  3. Select the Picklist (Multi=Select) radio button, Click Next
